The IT Systems Analyst will maintain and monitor all information systems and ensure proper protocol and integration with other systems as required. Performs other duties relating to the information technology systems of Choctaw Electric Cooperative, Inc. as requested by the Chief Financial Officer. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Keeps informed regarding applicable computer software and coaches users in their application to assist them in keeping up-to-date regarding the most efficient and effective methods to complete their job responsibilities. • Assist in maintaining the mainframe and personal computer network system by diagnosing and isolating malfunctioning components, attaching or removing devices as needed by users, loading new applications, and testing new software, among others to ensure that the computer network is functioning properly and efficiently and meets the user's needs. • Assist in data processing training and provides technical assistance to users as requested or directed to help users become more proficient in the use of the personal computer network system. • Perform telephone system administration for the cooperative, including programming the phone system, providing for internal cabling needs, and maintains accompanying server system/internet feed. • Maintain/install server systems, including both physical and virtual. • Configure/maintain logical networking system between all sites. • Maintain Information Technology side of PCI compliance. • Ensure all reports, documents, and items required by all the Controlling Authorities for information technology are maintained. • Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements:

Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Technical Certification in Server Systems/Networking preferred. Five to seven years’ previous experience preferred. Must have prior experience and knowledge of object oriented programming, Microsoft SQL, Active Directory Management, CISCO Networking, and VOIP/POTS. A+ and MCSE or similar certifications are preferred but not required. Qualifications • Must be able to read, write and perform basic mathematical computations. Must be personable and customer-oriented. • Must be able to complete all assignments with attention to detail and 00accuracy. Must maintain confidentiality with sensitive information. Must be able to work calmly and effectively under pressure. • Must be able to interact well with internal and external customers, handling inquiries and/or composing correspondence. Conveys professional interaction at all times, thereby maintaining positive relations. Displays and encourages team effort for maximum efficiency and productivity. • Must be able to operate standard company technology/equipment, including a working knowledge of Microsoft programs and other software applications pertinent to the Cooperative’s system (Excel, Word, and Windows operating system). • Must hold a valid driver’s license at the level necessary to operate vehicles in the performance of position responsibilities. • Maintains thorough working knowledge of Cooperative Bylaws, policies, procedures, and safety manual. • Must be able to attend periodic seminars and training programs. Physical Demands • Frequently operates standard office machines to include computer, copy machine, and fax. Frequent use of office machines requiring touch and vision for close work. Normal activities require extensive amounts of standing and work environment is 100% indoor in normal office conditions.
